Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated IT and Security Specialist to manage our technology infrastructure and ensure its security. In this role, you will be responsible for installing and configuring security software, developing and implementing security policies and procedures, and conducting regular security audits and vulnerability assessments. Additionally, you will provide technical support to employees and work closely with other departments to ensure that technology and security considerations are taken into account in all aspects of the business.

Responsibilities
- Manage the company’s hardware and software systems, including laptops, cloud services, and mobile devices.
- Install and configure security software, such as firewalls, anti-virus software, and intrusion detection systems.
- Develop and implement security policies and procedures, such as password management, data backup, and disaster recovery.
- Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments to identify potential risks and threats.
- Provide technical support to employees and resolve any IT-related issues.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest trends and threats in the technology and security fields, and implement best practices to protect the company’s systems and data.
- Be willing to work flexible hours to accommodate different time zones, as the job may require working outside of standard office hours.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
- Strong background in both IT and information security.
- Experience in working with platforms such as Cato and Entitle.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment and able to adapt quickly to changing business needs.
